At a very young age I discovered my passion for drawing and painting. After a series of life events, I finally decided to enrol at the University of Maastricht in a special postgraduate master course in medical illustration.
After my graduation I got particularly inspired by insects and other tiny earthlings. They are losing their habitats to urbanization, with the result that their populations are quickly declining. My ambition is to immortalize them on canvas, as large as possible.

Gradually my painting style has become looser and looser, but I am still looking for a new and possibly supplementary way to give expression to my inner call. Where this adventure will lead is still uncertain.

Due to this transition period, my work on this site is also quite diverse.
